Cooking Classes

I don't teach the way most people do. Recipes are great but they are only tools. The real building blocks of a cook are: ingredients, techniques, and understanding how the two play together. If you choose to take one of my classes, I will share with you my love of cooking and teach you how to cook with your senses and experience the process with a focus on 'why' not just 'how.'

I am comfortable working with special diets and can accommodate almost any into any class. Each workshop will be unique to the skill level, comfort, and food preferences of those in attendance. Classes take place in the comfort of your own home and I will provide all needed ingredients and some free knife sharpening as needed! All you have to bring is an empty belly, willing hands, and a knife and cutting board for each student.

Every class will end to us sitting down to a beautiful dinner that you'll have learned to make. One day classes last between 4 and 6 hours and include snacks along the way. They are perfect for those trying something new or honing up their skills. Weekend workshops are two days of classes, meant for those who want to delve deeply into their chosen subject. Private and custom lessons are available upon request. Discounts are available for my two Gluten Free classes for people dealing with Celiac Disease.
